I discovered today why it was that I've been moved from my dining table to another. It turns out that the woman who has taken my place there has had a thoroughly miserable cruise due to being stuck on a table with a very obnoxious bloke who has given her a very hard time, and so she asked to be moved to another table. If the bloke was that bad, it does rather beg the question as to why she left it this long before asking to be moved. Anyway, because I'm 'staff', I'm expendable and my dining place isn't guaranteed, and so the change took place to make a passenger happy. I still think she should have complained earlier.
The ship is still a-rocking and a-rolling, but doesn't seem quite so bad on the whole; we're still experiencing some serious lurches every now and then, though. We've now entered the Bay of Biscay and have been told to expect an improvement in the weather. I've heard there's snow on the mainland, so that should make driving home interesting on Saturday (if it's still around).
I held my penultimate workshop today - we painted the sea - and have gathered all the work from previous lessons and blu-tacked it to the mirrors in the Brittania Lounge foyer - it looks terrific!! The exhibition will stay up now for the rest of today and all day tomorrow - the fruits of our labours for all to see.
